Another teasing question: about your SO/DH/DW
Do you know whether your significant other was teased? was a bully? neither? If you are not sure, what would your guess be?
It seems like my DH was never really one to tease but didn't get made fun of. He was pretty well liked and his childhood friends are still a very close knit community. Some of his friends probably picked on other kids, but I would not say that most of them did.

DH to a T! I don't think he has a mean bone in his body. He is still close with his HS friends as well.

He was teased a lot, I know that. But he's a kind, gentle soul, so I'm not shocked. As far as doing the teasing, it's only now that he's older with an awesome sense of humor that he teases our friends in good fun

Rob was really shy when he was young. He wasn't teased.. but he was too shy to do any teasing. His brothers were flat out bullies though. As he lost his shyness, he also somehow lost his filter. He doesn't INTEND to be mean but he is very blunt and will just say things that can be less than flattering sometimes.

My DH in high school was very into ska / punk / hardcore music, had blue hair for a while, wore rock band t-shirts and chains hanging off his jeans, stuff like that. He had a group of friends to identify with, but was definitely picked on by the jocks.
Now that I'm a teacher, I'm super-extra-nice to the "outcasts" and very sensitive to bullying in my classroom because I know how hard it was for him.

Dh grew up in a small town in Montana & got picked on and beat up in HS...his Dad was a DDS and most kid's were ranchers and poor so they didn't like his family because they had money...he was also a tall thin kid back then...now he's 6'4" and 280lbs...i feel bad for him when he tells me about it...makes me want to go kick some arse...
ETA: I work security in a school & especially watch out for bullies and try and befriend the quieter more awkward kids.

Don't even get me started. DH was a star athlete and a nice guy and barely had any teasing. He remembers being teased about his "bowl cut" in like 5th grade. NOTHING compared to my experiences.

This is my DH exactly. He is still very close with the kids he grew up with. I think some of them may have teased other kids on rare occasion, but none of them were bullies.

No one picked on him, and he's not a "bully." He was one of the lucky ones that was left alone.

My DH was teased. He busts his friend's chops and teases them now but I don't think he was a teaser in school.
