ANOTHER stroller Q - Re: "snack trays"
So, DH and I decided on the Bug Cameleon - which we planned to buy on our own. - I was considering putting a Maclaren on my registry just to keep in the car for quick and easy running around .........
Here's my question - Neither have a snack try, but both have the best reviews.
My cousin's wife says the snack tray is a MUST MUST MUST have (and those on the parenting board seem to agree)
What do you think ??
I didn't even THINK of this ..........
Part of me thinks it's just all what your DC gets used to (as far as having snacks in the stroller or not) but maybe I'm being totally naive ??
I found this thing - that snaps on to 'most' storllers .....

Re: ANOTHER stroller Q - Re: "snack trays"
I personally think you are right.. although I have never had a kid.. but if your child is used to NOT having a snack tray, will they know the difference? The snap on one looks like it would work too.. so if you want the bugaboo.. go for it!!!

Re: ANOTHER stroller Q - Re: "snack trays"
A lot of strollers these days - especially the European models - don't seem to have snack trays. I guess it's a convenience, but I don't think they'd miss it. I'm not sure about the thing that you posted - I think the appeal of a snack tray (for me at least) is to be able to throw some cheerios on there and let the baby pick at them, as opposed to having separate areas for drinks, food etc.

Re: ANOTHER stroller Q - Re: "snack trays"
I had one on my Chicco and rarely used it. And now on my Maclaren I don't have one and it is no problem at all.
I guess if you go shopping a lot etc it is a good idea but I don't

If you use a snack cup like the one in the picture, you don't need a snack tray. Your child can hold the snack cup and feed himself. We've never had a snack tray and we don't miss it.

Re: ANOTHER stroller Q - Re: "snack trays"
From my experience my son was quite happy to have a snack trap cut to hold onto and to bang around the pushchair. Also, I just used a toy clip to clip it onto the stroller. Some people just like them, others don't!!!
