another spa post, sorry- Dorit Baxter Spa
The prices seem lower than all the big named spas I'm looking at (im looking at acqua spa). Is it a dingy place? I'm looking for a nice relaxing atmosphere, you know, like where they give you cucumber water in it and all that crap! thoughts?

I have been there a few times about 12 years ago. I think it was for a Brazilian. It was a perfectly nice spa, up to par with the rest of them in that location. Not sure about cucumber water, but I remember there being orange water. :) Not sure how it is now though...

I once did a spa day with my friend there. She packs them in and ppl are waiting right outside the room you're in. I actually remember complaining bc it was hard to relax. We had fun but not what I consider a quiet peaceful time.

I've been there with my cousin. You do wait right outside of the rooms where treatments are being held, but they are very good at making sure people are quiet. The treatment was fantastic and the atmosphere was nice. And yes, I got a lemon water!

I went once many years ago and it was the worst spa experience I've ever had. The spa is small and the rooms were really tight and cramped. It was not luxurious or relaxing at all.
