Another similar vanity question...
I've been posting about what to do with the vanity and countertop in our bathroom. The one we have is bigger than the average size and to get one custom is too expensive. I've weighed all of our options and so far. I'm still uncertain on what to do. Would it look really bad if there was a freestanding vanity/countertop? Right now it's tight and built in between 2 walls. If I put in a 61" stock set there will be about 1.75" on both sides. Will that look stupid? I've been to the store and tried to see if the other options mentioned would work and so far, not really. I was just wondering if it would be a turnoff to potential buyers. Thanks!

Re: Another similar vanity question...
a little over an inch on each side is impossible to clean. stuff will get stuck in there. Does the floor go under the vanity? many bathrooms don't have tile under the vanity. how about a pedastal sink with nice storage units on each side.
