another question- lining and implantation related
did anyone ever heard of taking estrace suppositories AFTER IUI?

I continue to take estrace (orally- pills) after my IUI (2mg/day)

what about crinone? you take both estrace and progesterone after IUI?
what is the purpose of estrace? i thought it grows lining if mine was 10mm today, estrace will have my lining grow to God knows what after my IUI on Wed. Confused

I was told it didn't make much difference to continue it after or not.... The cycle I got pregnant, I continued estrace and vitamin e my whole 2ww. However, I don't know if it really impacts things so much one way or another 
And yes I take the progesterone as well... just a gigantic ball of hormones

not 100% sure but the body DOES need an estrogen supply post-ovulation. after IVF they had me on many estrogen patches as well as an estrogen/progesterone combo suppository. so while im not sure what its for in your case (i know i needed it post-ER cause i did a lupron trigger which killed the corpus luteum's ability to produce my own hormones) im sure its just to supplement lining or supply additional estrogen.

I'm actually taking Crinone now - i had my IUI on Sat and they had me start the Crinone on Monday for 5 days. I'll go in for bloodwork on Friday to test progesterone levels
my levels are usually pretty decent, but they figured that it may help things out if there is implantation, so it couldn't hurt.

Since you are so unsure about this, why not ask your doctor?  I know we see different people- but I almost always approach Dr.B with a list of questions on my Blackberry!

Sorry, you asked in a subsequent post about Crinone so i thought i'd offer up what i was doing.
Your dr is the best person to answer for you as everyone on here has different protocols and advice from their drs depending on their own situations
