Another question for the AR moms...
What treatment if any did you see an improvement with?? And did u notice an improvement as they got older? At what month/week old?
Jacob is on Zantac and I dont think its really helping much. Anyone else find Zantac not that helpful? I am seeing a GI doctor next week so i'm hoping maybe she'll change the med.... I just hope that he improves slightly by the end of March, that is when I go back to work PT. He will be 3 months then. But right now I def need 2 people at all times to handle him. My MIL is with me every day when DH goes to work at 3pm. When he is crying and fussing, I cannot get anything done let alone feeling like I want to get in my car and drive far far away... On top of it all, I think he may have sleep apnea. He has been gasping for air when he sleeps i have noticed. GREAT!! why not add more fuel to the fire..

I can tell you right now that Ive been there and I know what you are going thru- to be honest Bryan's reflux got better at about 5 months and now its drastically better at 7 months although it is still there, Zantac did not really help all that much Bryan was on it for six weeks- what did really help was the diet change for me while I was bfing -- completely milk protein free and then at 5.5 months when we introduced solids and alimentum formula because Bryan had sensitivies to food as well as the relux they both go hand in hand often. I stopped the Zantac after 6 weeks and saw no change and actually a little improvement when he stopped , Anyhow I know it can feel like there is no end in sight and you want to jump out the window but it really does get better

Cassidy had bad reflux until she was about 8 months. Zantac did not help her at all, but I've heard from others who've said it helped alot. Cassidy's really just went away on it's own.
Good luck, I Know it's frustrating!
