Another Q about hanging baskets

as you can tell, I have a black thumb Chat Icon

do you have to pull out the dead flowers in order for new one's to grow? Chat Icon

I would just throw out the plant & buy another one. Seems to work well for me.

I may be wrong, but I thought you don't have to do that with wave petunias (just in case that is what you have).
