Another q - if you have time...

I went to the dr on Wednesday - everything was fine, she said I was measuring around 4 weeks so the bleeding was most likely implantation... So at that same visit - she prescribed me Prometrium. She didn't even check my levels - why would this be prescribed so soon? They drew blood but certainly did not get test results back so soon. I didn't actually fill the prescription until today so I didn't know what it was. I plan on calling the office tomorrow. I guess I'm going to switch doctors - I don't like being prescribed something so quickly...

At first I just did a quick search on WebMD, so I posted my q here. Then I happened across a fertility site and came to that same conclusion... I read how low progesterone can lead to thinning of the uterine lining and cause bleeding and I said "oh, that's prob why she prescribed it to me". Duh. I've been going to her for about 15 years, I really should trust her more... Thanks so much for responding!
