another potty thing.....

Sooooo. im trying to potty train my boys like serios over here ( thanks summer!) anyway.one afternoon after there nap they tell me no diaper they want under wear. well we go from 5-8pm no accidents and in the potty. overntie we peed in the diapers. next day they peed constanly through the underwear. so i said ok not today. now the last 2 days they go to be in diapers with there milk cups finisihing them. they wake up 3am and there bone dry! the use the potty go to bed and wake up at 7 am still bone dry again we use the potty! during the day.. not so much. we go take a nap with a milk cup. again we wake up BONE DRY! i put him pn the potty and he goes on the potty.


leave it to my kids to potty train during the sleep and not during the day!!!!

can anyone help me??!!! how doi do the day???!!

I know it will sound silly, but let them run around naked (NO UNDERPANTS, NOTHING! ) for a day or two and this will help. They will learn how to control it.

we JUST had some success yesterday after trying for MONTHS!

we do a combo of underwear and pull-ups. a few weeks ago i said bye-bye to diapers because worst case scenario i need DD in pull-ups for nursery school come january. out of the blue, she started asking for underwear. i said fine, we had some accidents, but then she realized when she wanted to go, she'd ask for a pull-up and would pee in there.

then i started to put on the pressure with the m&m's. she understood that she would get 3 for pee and 5 for poop, but only yesterday made the real connection. i gave her a couple juice boxes and told her i'd give her one m&m for even a drop of pee. she gave me a drop, i gave her one m&m, another drop, another m&m, then she emptied her bladder and i gave her a whole bunch.

so far so good, she still is peeing when she sleeps and overnight, but i'll take this progress over nothing...
