another people vent
This (older) lady watched me order an iced coffee, stared me down and rolled her eyes/kinda shook her head at me when we made eye contact!!!
I don't know how I maintained my composure but I laughed and said to her "if you hadn't slept in 8 months you'd want your 200mg of caffeine too", smiled and walked away.
I wanted to smack her so bad. Why are people so judgmental??

I love what you said to her!!!
It reminds me of this one time I was on the LIRR coming home and had my music on I guess loud enough that the older lady next to me could hear it, but I didn't think it was that loud. I could still hear every word she said when she turned to her friend and says "That girl is going to lose her hearing from those things" and started talking smack about the people of my generation  When it came time for my stop, I stood up and said to her, "Thanks for your consideration, but my hearing is just fine!!"

People need to mind their own damn business  I love when people get on their high horse about these things  People do much worse when pregnant than having a little caffeine!

I LOVE what you said to her!!! People will always make a comment. If you ordered decaf you could have had someone say "you know you're allowed to have caffeine?" Pregnant can't lose!
Today my BIL text me to pick up cigs. I didn't even think of it and said "sure no problem". When I approached the counter I realized I am almost 9 months pregnant and this looks TERRIBLE!!! I gave a long speech how it wasn't for me and swore up and down that my friends didn't think this one through. The woman still gave me a nasty look!

haha what you said is great!! I would have just gave a dirty look back.
Well, here's the opposite situation...I went to dinner Friday night with some family and family friends. I ordered myself a cappucino, I didn't have any caffeine all day. One of the family friends was like you're not allowed to have that or something like that.
The waitress turned to him and said yes, she's allowed one cup lol
