another no doc appt. what would u do question..
Sorry for another post like this...
Wed we had a appt for a growth sono..we went office closed...supposed to go monday for another appt phone has not been working...in great neck they prob have no power
I am almost 35 weeks with twins...I feel ok..def have some contractions on and off and swelling etc
Last appt when they measured the twins they were both on the smaller side her more than him..they said these growth sonos r important bc they need to make sure they r both frowing they way they should
Dh is working min 12 hour shifts in the clean up so it is hard for him to take off and I do not drive
He is worried bc we have not had a sono in 2 weeks,I know this may not be the norm but we get them often bc we r twins, ivf grads and I have major bleeding issues including a ruptured placenta at 18 weeks
Would u just go to the er. For a sono? Would I jiust walk in? It's tech not a emergency. But I am just worried and have no clue when doc office will be back n running
What would u do?

i wouldn't go to the ER, what i would do is whatever hospital you are delivering at call the L&D floor, and tell them your situation and what you should do? b/c at 35 weeks you would go straight to L&D anyway not the ER. HTH

like the others have said definitly dont go through the er...when i went on the tour at NSUH manhasset i was told any time you have a problem especially later in your pregnancy dont go through the er but go to admitting and go through labor and delivery...i just assumed go to the er and they would transfer you to l&D but supposedly the dont
