Another Hysteroscopy!
Hi girls,
I havent been on much lately...I've had so much going on. Anyway, I came on to vent. I went to the RE yesterday, my second f/u visit after the 1st hysteroscopy in Oct. First f/u visit was a mid-cycle scan which showed a pretty thick lining of 10 mm; the Permerin did its job. So I was started on progesterone to induce a period, but just 2 days on the prog. I got my period...a nice red and heavy one (sorry for TMI), which is good, but apparantly, not good enough. Turns out I need to have a second hysteroscopy to finish removing the remaining scar tissue in the uterus. He did tell me, initially, that I might need a second treatment, but I guess that info when into a small space in the back of my brain. I really thought yesterday's would be the one where the RE would've said: "So, you can start IVF.......", but I suppose not. He really want my uterus to be as open and thick as possible to hold onto a preganancy. Looksl ike this isnt going to even be happening until Feburary b/c my next surgery will probably be at the end of Dec. or early Jan.

i know how frustrating it is but its better that you get everything cleared now than go through the IVF and not working for you!
Remember everything happens for a reason...!

Hopefully all of this preparation will mean success in the end. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Try to enjoy the holiday season, in the meantime.

Thank you all for your words of encourgement and your prayers. I am trying to stay positive and I've joined a message board that deals with Asherman's Sydrome; the information is very helpful and a good support, but nothing beats talking with your "mommy" when you are feeling so down. She has been a great source of encouragement for me and I love her so much.
Well, girls, good luck to you all and I will post updates. As of now, it doesnt look like I will be having the procedure until the first week of January.
Please keep me in your prayers.
