Another ?? for the Dr. Braverman patients
I work 8-4 Mon thru Friday and I know Dr. Braverman starts his office hours at 8:30am. I was concerned about having to going in for bloodwork in the morning but he said I can get a script for the bloodwork and go to a lab that opens real early before work. Does anyone else do this? Also what lab do u go to?

I've never done it for his office, but I do it for my general practicioner... I go to Quest labs and its super fast and easy!

i dont know about dr B but my endocrinologist writes me a script and sends me out to a lab. I go to quest (thats who my insurance works with) they have early hrs ... i think the earliest is 6am..
Check with ur insurance and who they work with.

Definitely check your insurance, it's usually either Quest or LabCorp. He said I could do the same thing.

I went to quest for the major blood work. The regular stuff I do in his office but I'm sure you could do that quest too.

hmmm I guess I could. But my understanding was I would go to a lab early in the am and then go for the sono at his office after work...I'm thinking that by the afternoon he would have my blood test results. It would be easier if I could just do the b/w and sono in the afternoon though like u said.

ahhhhhh that makes sense. Otherwise they'd be off by a day between the blood and sono. I haven't done a cycle yet with him. Obviously I'd prefer to not have 2 places to go each day besides work, but it's only for a week or so.

I go to labcorp - was actually much more convenient for me since labcorp is about 2 mins from my house! They open at 7am. I was always there at the crack of dawn!! Plus, Dr. B's office sends the script "stat" so you will always have the results that day.
