Another Disney Question
What do you use to hold your personal items while you are at the park? I usually use a wristlet but I'm thinking that I may need a little more room this time...Any ideas?
I was thinking about getting a small backpack - are they allowed in the parks?

Re: Another Disney Question
Yes, you can bring backpacks into the park! They just have a seperate line when entering the park, those with bags, and those without! Obviously, with bags is usually longer, but no big deal!

Re: Another Disney Question
As Kelly stated, backpacks are certainly allowed. Any type of bag is subject to inspection before you can gain entrance to the specific park you are entering.
I used to bring in a backpack when my daughter was smaller; mostly to hold her things. Now that she is a little older (7), I find I can get away with a 3-pocket "fanny pack".
It all depends on your needs, but there should not be a problem as long as the bag contents adhere to Disney policy.

Re: Another Disney Question
Dh always carries a backpack for the trip - he puts his camera, and suntan lotion and few other small items. You will want something - just don't make it heavy b.c you have to lug it around. They have no problem with bags as long as you don't bring glass bottles into the park.

Re: Another Disney Question
True -- we are going in 2 weeks but the forecast is high 80s/low 90s. I bought a small backpack from longchamp that is small, light and easy to clean so hopefully that will be ok

Those longchamp backpacks are FABULOUS!!! They are very lightweight but hold a pretty decent amount of things. You should be fine. I used to use those and can tell you they work wonderfully!
We just bring a backpack that DH carries with all the things we don't want to leave on the stroller. It is definitely hot - we leave Sat and I'm dreading the weather a bit since I have 2 under 3 - I hear the humidity is high too - which is rarer for this time of year.
