another cord ???
why do they sell onsies for new borns when you would think because of the cord you woul want them just to wear a tee shirt under ther cloths sothe cord can breath??

It isn't so it can breathe, it is so the stump doesn't get caught. Both my nephew's lost their belly button 1 week after coming home. My DS was really attached to his stump and didn't lose it for a month

I wouldn't waste your money on those. It's not really necessary at all. I used regular onesies or t-shirts with both my kids and it didn't bother the cord stump at all. I really think it's just a "gimmick".
