another christmas related question.. sorry..
Last year I saw someone post about an Elf thing.. you move the Elf around the room each day telling your dc hes santas helper who watches them and reports back to santa if they were good or bad.. He came with a book.. I love the idea... Growing up my family didnt do traditional fun things.. to me this sounds cute.. my friends at work said this sounds horrible and tramatizing to the child, and im nuts  ..
Anyone remember the name of the elf and were i can get one? I love it..
So far i have the lucky gerkin that you put on the tree and the first child on christmas morning to find gets a surprise.. of course ill have a surprise for all of them, but the one who finds it will get first pick... I LOVE all this stuff.. sounds like TONS OF FUN!!

If you look on the store locator page, there are lots in our area, including the card stores in Roosevelt Field and Walt Whitman Malls.

Elf on a Shelf! I saw this in a store yesterday and am thinking about getting it this year. Looks like a very neat tradition!
