Re: Another but different fence question
I don't know for sure but I'd probably do it, and I wouldn't care if my neighbors did it to my fence on their side.

Another but different fence question
I don't think so but why not just ask them. I don't see why they would have a problem with it since they aren't seeing it.

I don't think so unless you get permission.

Re: Another but different fence question
It's not your property. So I wouldn't do it without asking. The only thing I would be worried about is paint/stain going through to the other side between the slats. I wouldn't want to see that.

Another but different fence question
Also, if the fence is on their line he answer is absolutely not. For example, we paid for our fence and have 5 neighbors that have use of the fence. However, it is solidly on our property line. I'd be pissed if they touched it for any reason-staining, hanging stuff, anything.

Another but different fence question
I definitely wouldn't consider it without asking. Dh is the type that will move things and reuse them when he can so he'd be upset if anyone stained the wood. Not to mention like another poster mentioned if it shows on the other side in any way they'll probably be really pissed.

Is ask and first test that it won't run through the other side.
