Another bad review question....
What are your thoughts on posting on here about someone (not a LIF vendor) who has caused issue after issue?
I'm treading lightly because DH may have to run into this guy again in business.
We are in the process of doing a house reno and he has caused issue after issue.
The icing on the cake was I received a letter this weekend that we hadn't paid for our bill and he was submitting it to collections.
I had to give up part of my day at the bank to get copies of the checks he deposited.
This was only one of many things....but he is local and very cocky and I would hate to see someone else get screwed over....

Another bad review question....
Usually if someone asks for a specific service, and the person/business that I had a bad experience with is recommended, I'll FM that person and explain the situation. Or I'll reach out and say, "I know you're looking for this, but stay away from this business because..."
I've done this twice. The first time was on LIW when a limo company (a vendor on there) never picked up my cousin and his new wife after the wedding and basically said I got more money from better jobs. I explained the story and told anyone that wanted the name to FM me. Another time, someone on here was looking for a daycare in a specific area, I FMed them and told them to steer clear of a particular one because a friend of mine who works closely to that industry had just filled me in on some negative things occurring there.

Re: Another bad review question....
Tks.
That's what I'm thinking of doing, especially with the amount of traffic on the home board.

ITA. I wouldn't get into details on these boards because, well, you never know. A private message is best.

Re: Another bad review question....
I was angry before. We will see if he resolves the issue tomorrow.
I also think part of me still has a heart even though he is an ass and don't want to blast him outright but I will FM people and let people know IRL too if they are looking for a rec for this kind of service.

Re: Another bad review question....
What would I do?
I would post my experience with the vendor - only stating the facts.
I would want anyone googling to know the facts of the situation before using someone. Then they can decide for themselves if they want to hire them.
