another 1st birthday entertainment question

We are having a halloween/costume themed 1st bday for DS. There will be approx 25 kids:

12 kids between 9 months and 2 years old

5 kids ages 3-4

8 kids 5-8 years old

what kind of entertainment do I need to provide? I guess I should gear the entertainment towards the older kids. I was thinking of a balloon guy and something else, but I'm not sure. Maybe I should just stick to halloween games/activities?

-No face painting because it's a costume party.

-probably not a bounce house because kids will be in costume.

i am so glad you asked this bc DS will also be having his first Bday as a halloween costume party and also have been wondering about entertainment.

I am thinking Mickey mouse club house Halloween what kind of decorations are you doing? what kind of halloween games would you play?

I love the balloon guy idea and i was also thinking of doing a chareacter artist, you know where they draw pcitures of you with big heads like on the streets in NYC? I thought it would be cute with all the kids in their costumes plus fun for the adults.

we are sticking to a halloween theme, but nothing too scary. we're not going to incorporate any shows or characters so the decorations will be pumpkins, spiders, bats and some balloons. orange and black tablecloths. Maybe a table with some items that the kids could touch, like brain stew(cold spaghetti) and eyeball soup (peeled grapes) and As far as games go, pin the broom on the witch or something like that. Love the idea of the charactr artist...kids will def love that.
