Re: Anguilla?
We went to Anguilla for our honeymoon in May 2007. It is absolutely one of the best places for a quiet, relaxing, romantic vacation. If you want nightlife, this really isn't the place.
We stayed at Cap Juluca and it was amazing!!!!
My only suggestion would be to take a small plane there from St Maarten. We got so sick on the ferry ride going that DH refused to take it back.
If you have any questions, feel free to FM me.

Hello fellow 07' bride
Thanks for the info. We live in the city and get tons of nightlife so beach vacays for us are all about relaxing
Interesting about the ferry. We both don't get sea sick but will take a Dramamine to be safe...
If I think of anything else Ill be sure to FM you. Thanks again!

Re: Anguilla?
I have been to Anguilla twice when I was younger with my parents. I would love to go back as an adult and when we go on our next cruise, we are thinking of taking the ferry over when we are docked in St. Maarten.

You totally should! We have pretty much decided to fly to St. Maarten then take the ferry. Will keep the cost down a bit and give us a chance to mingle with locals and maybe get some inside info

I didn't think there would be much on St. Maarten for the kids and since they love the beach, it would be great to bring them there. My parents LOVED Anguilla and went 2 more times without us.

Re: Anguilla?
Not much to do there, but the sand is very clean and water incredibly clear. I would recommend staying in St Martin and taking the ferry over to Anguilla. If you want true seclusion and peace and don't mind not having much to do, you should stay in Anguilla.

Re: Anguilla?
I was only there for the day but it was incredibly quiet and didn't seem like there was much to do, but if that's what you're looking for, then it looks like an amazing island to be on. The water was the bluest I've ever seen. I've heard great things about Cap Juluca and Cuisnart Hotel. I would go to St. Maarten for the day, and I think you can go to St. Barths which is close by - I loved it there too.
