And so it begins...
The nausea is officially here. I am a little over 6 weeks. I have sea bands, preggo pops, ginger ale and nothing seems to help. I know it gets better but that's not for a few weeks! Any tips or advice?

Re: And so it begins...
The only thing that really kept my nausea at bay was to never let my stomach get empty. I would eat little meals and snack every couple of hours. No really big meals, but just enough to keep me from ever getting hungry. When my stomach was empty, that's when I'd get nauseous and then I didn't want to eat and it was a vicious cycle! Hope you feel better soon!

What worked for me was ginger gum from cvs. I would pop one of those, take the edge off; and then try to eat some kind of carb. Bread, crackers, pasta, bagel etc. Don't let yourself get hungry. It makes it worse!

I'm in the same boat, will be 7 weeks tomorrow and my commute to work on 2 trains is the worst. Not much of MS but the nausea is unbearable

Agreed. From the minute I wake up I need something or I'm queasy. Times where I thought I'd be okay, i would try to do my morning routines but I ended up dry heaving in the shower etc... Crackers, pretzels and chewy granola bars first thing in the morning help me..Then a snack every 2 hours! It's annoying but I'd rather feel forced to eat than nauseous all friggin day... Let's hope it doesn't stay too long

I found that if I kept on top of my hunger, it helped. So eat as often as you can! Sucking candies worked for me, and of course carbs!!!!!
Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks girls! I've been trying to eat but I feel like I'm never full! I feel like I'm eating so much! I find jolly ranchers help a bit.

Me too! I always had a very strong sense of smell but now the smells are making me gag. I'm a special Ed teacher and work was so hard today. I don't know how I'm going to do this for the next few weeks! I don't want to complain bc I'm so excited to be pregnant and the nausea is reassuring but god I feel awful!
