An update and a thank you. what a difference a week makes.
so I took your words of advice to heart after my post last Monday.
the weekend was MUCH MUCH better for us and I thank you so much.
it's really incredible what a bit of delegation and schedule changing can do.
the biggest thing I did was send out the laundry. $21. I dropped it off Saturday and it will be returned to me today, washed, dried and FOLDED. it would have taken HOURS yesterday to do that. so worth the price.
and I didn't make breakfast yesterday morning. we went out to the diner and then ran all of our errands EARLY, before Luce's nap.
we got home and he went down for 2.5 hours. I cooked a few meals and dh RELAXED. we decided to have true Sunday suppers so we ate early and I was able to scrub down my kitchen, clean the stove and mop the floors!!
and everyone was HAPPY!!! 
thank you so much for your help, words of advice, and encouragement. Hopefully these changes will continue to help us enjoy the shorted time we have together as a family, til April and BEYOND.

I always say that sometimes just a little money spent (like sending your laundry out for $21) can be worth HUNDREDS of dollars worth of your time and sanity!
Sounds like a great balance.

I am really really lazy at heart. if I sit, I would get nothing done. I have to stand all day or else it's OVER for me.
