An "I'm ungrateful" post
We have had major MIL issues since we got married. She didn't talk to us for a year b/c we didn't do all holidays at her house, on her tablecloth, on her mother's china...blah, blah, blah....Plus she hates my family. Her guilt thing is that she buys extravagent gifts they can't afford to make up for her guilt. So anyway, we registered for some of the big stuff yesterday - really like 12 things on our registry. She went on and ordered almost half the stuff already. While I should be grateful I really know she did this so she can say "I bought stuff before your mom did..."
UGH......I always feel like a snot when I talk about her but everyone that knows the story (yes, even both sides) knows that she has ulterior motives. thanks for the vent...ugh.
