American Idol news
This morning on WBLI I heard that the powers that be at AI are give 4 record deals.
Taylor
Katherine
Chris
and ACE Young, what is that about???
Paris and Eliot are so much better and no deal.

I did see Elliot on a talk show and he said Clive Davis was not going to sign him, they do not like his style I guess.
But ACE, omg, if they were giving modeling contracts hands down he wins but come on not singing

i thought there was a rumor that paris was being signed by beyonce's dad? i dont know where i got that from!
etd to add that on the AI boards, there is a report that elliot is being signed by another label.

It's now official: As TMZ first reported Monday, 'American Idol' runner-up Katharine McPhee, who lost out to Taylor Hicks, has signed a record deal with Clive Davis and 19 Recordings Unlimited. Her first recording, "Over the Rainbow" paired with the largely unlistenable "My Destiny," will be released in stores June 27.

I heard that another company was 'courting' elliot... sending him on trips to vegas, etc.

Ace, with the right producer and a really good sound board in a studio, can pass and would be much easier to market than Elliot. As talented as Elliot is (and is much more so than Ace), his looks would more than likely hold him back from the commercial success that Ace would get. JMO.
