Amazons fire 7 kids tablets?
I see on amazon today the deal is two for $150. So it's $50 off. My kids almost 3 and 5 have taken over my iPad. We are thinking of getting these for them for Christmas. Are they any good?? Is this a good deal?

Re: Amazons fire 7 kids tablets?
I have an older fire tablet for my kids (about 2 years old) and it is not the kids tablet (no idea what the difference is) but the tablet is great. My 3 and 4 year old love it. You cant get all of the same apps as the ipad, but there are a lot out there. I also love that you can use a memory card on it, so I can download movies onto the micro sd card so my kids to watch movies when they are not on wifi.

Re: Amazons fire 7 kids tablets?
I just got them for my younger 2. My older kids have these and iPads. I prefer the Fire bc I can limit everything they do, and my oldest used to sneak his iPad into his room for bedtime, but the fire is set up to shut off at a specific time. It’s perfect for book reading even as they get older.
It’s a good price too, pretty sure I paid $119 each a few years ago.

my 3 and 5 year old have them- they are great, I highly recommend them ,you can put parental controls on them and limit the amount of screen time they have.

sort of a spin on this:
we have a fire that DS @ 2.5 uses from time to time
we actually have 2 that we never use lol
so i am thinking of getting leapfrog instead.
what do you think?

My DS has had the Kindle Fire Kids edition tablet for 2 years, he's now 4, and he loves it. It's perfect for him because I don't have to worry about content.

I don't know much about them. My kids had a hand me down one so it was a little older but it doesn't keep their attention for long at all.
