amazon registry- can you make it private?
does anyone know if you can make amazon registy non-searchable? i am not ready to come out, but i want to start working on it.

I'm not sure but I believe you can make it under a fake name and you can "edit" your name later to be the right one.
I was so afraid of the same thing so I didn't start one until 2 weeks ago!

when you set it up the registry - it gives you an option to make private
and then when you want to make it public - you just go to the settings section and change it to public

I currently have a private amazon registry and did it this way.
