Amazon Echo
Who has the Amazon Echo? I know a few people and they like it, but looking for more reviews. It's on sale now, so I'm debating it!

We have it. We use it for music, to set timers/reminders, to add things to our shopping list.
We also have the dot. The sound is definitely not as good on that.
ETA: my husband is trying to automate our house so it's also hooked up to a nightlight and the nightlight is linked to our smoke alarms.

It's ok. We did get a wemo outlet so if we want to turn the tree on or off we just have to ask Alexa. That's cool. Otherwise, I could live without it.

We love it! Use it everyday. We have the wink hub and can control our lights which is great. My kids use it for music. Use it as our alarm.

Just bought DH the echo for his bday and a dot for myself. Love love love them! Echo is loud. Fills my entire first floor with music when we play it (we do have a cape so it's not a huge first floor)
The dot we put in the bathroom for music. Love it!
We played both at the same time to fill the house with music. They are awesome. Very happy with them both

We've had it for a year. If you have Amazon prime you can play music through them or use your Bluetooth. I use it for a timer/alarm. Ask her when hockey games are on. Weather...
If we just have a question and don't whip out our phones.
It's entertaining like skin nag her how much does the world weigh....

Love it. WE have it in the kitchen. Use it for music. I play Pandora or Spotify off it. I can control the lights with it too. I use it for a timer, grocery list and just to ask about the weather or news. We got one for my parents and they'll do audio books off it.
Kids love it for music and when my son has to read for 20 minutes he asks her to set timer. They also like to ask it for jokes and spelling things.
We have the dot in the bathroom. Not as good as the echo, but still good to play music.

My DH bought a Dot a couple of weeks back. We've used it mainly for music and to get the weather. He wants to tie some of the lights in the house to it. We keep it in the kitchen.
