"Amazon addiction"
Does anyone else seem to buy more from Amazon than they would if they still had to go to physical stores?
It's just way too convenient sometimes that I can just click my phone screen a couple of times, and get whatever I want on my doorstep in 2 days....
I order so many things, on more than one occasion, it's like Christmas... I see a box by the door, and I'm thinking "Oooh.... I wonder what I got!"...

Re: "Amazon addiction"
Guilty. I'm a complete addict. The UPS man has to be sick of coming to my house at this point.

Re: "Amazon addiction"
Between my DH and I, the UPS guy is at our house daily. Sometimes twice in a day It's just so easy, plus we have Prime, so shipping is free and I'm too lazy to drive to the store and try to find the item and then drive home.

Re: "Amazon addiction"
Yes, my father totally has an Amazon addiction. I use his prime account when I buy things from time to time for the free shipping, and one time forgot to delete my credit card. Big mistake on my part. My CC Bill the next month had a bunch of Amazon purchases on it.

Re: "Amazon addiction"
I wouldn't say it's a daily addiction. But it does feed into my laziness a lot.
DH said he ran out of one of his colognes. As he was talking, I bought it on prime and said "you'll have it Thursday". It's so damn convenient.

yep. All of this.
And that one click buying option is so, so, so convenient.
Way too easy. It feeds the lazy beast inside.

Re: "Amazon addiction"
Yes, they are geniuses. They've made it too easy. I feel like amazon is the qvc or home shopping club of the 80s and 90s. Idk why but for fun the other day I went into my order history, over 10 years worth. I was horrified how much we've spent on amazon in over a decade. We've single-handedly put their kids, the Chinese food guy's kids, and the pizza guy's kids through college.

Re: "Amazon addiction"
Walmart now has ShippingPass for $50 annually that works same as Amazon with free 3 day shipping no minimum. Items on Amazon that are add-on items I just get from Walmart now instead

Re: "Amazon addiction"
I definitely buy things more rapidly and in-bulk (which I never really do at the store).
UPS, USPS, and Fedex must all think I never leave my house with the amount of stuff that I order.

Re: "Amazon addiction"
My DH buys tons of things on Amazon and sometimes it's cheaper at the store. He always assumes they have the best price and I finally got annoyed. I changed the password and won't give it to him. We still get boxes several times a week.

My dh. I don't order much online. But he does all the time. Ups man and I are bffs. Lol. Dh went away for 2 weeks for work and I got not one package lmao. He got back and packages started again. My recycling bin is full every week with Amazon boxes lol
