Amazing how a few minutes can help
So the other night I had my wax appt. I made it for night so DH can be with the boys. At 6:30 when they take a bath then go to bed shortly after. Anyway, I left for the appt and we all know waxing isn't the best feeling, but I do it every few weeks. Well, since I was out and knew the boys were fine I figured I'd check out a new store next to the wax center. I came home around 7:15 - 7:30ish. Just in time to say goodnight to my older DS.
DH commented on how happy I was when I came in knowing full well waxing isn't always pleasant. I told him just that time was enough to get refreshed again. I'm with the boys all day through tantrums, errands, scrapes, feeding, cleaning, playdates, fights, etc. Just to get out, listen to my music, have a convo with the wax women, walk around a store without worrying if I need to run out of there and listen to my music on the way home was enough to make me feel human.
It's the little things! LOL

Totally agree! I am a different woman after something as simple as getting my nails done. When DH and I do date night we tend to run to a store also and my sister always makes fun of us, but being able to go into a store and take my time is a luxury!

LOL! I feel like shopping without kids is the best feeling. 
I have a highlights appt later and used to hate sitting there for that long. I am know looking forward to it. The hairdryers and gossip chat is a nice change over cries and tantrums. LOL
Although my boys aren't that bad at all, but not having to play ref for a bit is nice.
