Amanda Bynes on psychiatric hold in hospital
Amanda Bynes has been placed on psychiatric hold for the second time. After landing in Los Angeles on Friday, Oct. 10, the troubled star was taken immediately to a facility in Pasadena, Calif., a source confirms to Us Weekly.
In a video shot by TMZ, the former Nickelodeon star is seen rambling on the phone while exiting LAX, and at one point, tells the camera: "I want to be like Marilyn Monroe one day…I actually feel like an orphan…my father should be put in jail for a very long time."
The move comes just hours after Bynes accused her father on Twitter of sexually, physically, and verbally abusing her as a child. After tweeting that her dad once "fondled himself in front of me so many times that I started recording him on my phone in hopes of catching him saying or doing something inappropriate around me so I could get him arrested and put in jail for the rest of his perverted life," Bynes' mom Lynn's lawyer Tamar Arminak issued a statement to E! News on her behalf denying the accusations.
"I am heartbroken today for my husband of 47 years," Lynn's statement read. "Rick has been the best father and husband a family can ask for. He has never abused Amanda or our other children physically or sexually. These accusations are absolutely horrible and could not be further from the truth! These allegations stem from Amanda's mental state at the moment. They have no basis in reality. It saddens me beyond belief that my husband's character could be slandered in such a way."
Bynes then retracted her claims, tweeting: "My dad never did any of those things The microchip in my brain made me say those things but he's the one that ordered them to microchip me."
The 28-year-old's tweets weren't the first warning sign either. Last month, Brynes was arrested for her second DUI and according to TMZ, the actress was recently caught shoplifting in New York City.
In 2013, Bynes spent six months in rehab following a 5150 involuntary psychiatric hold after a stretch of similar erratic behavior.

The TMZ video is actually disturbing. This girl is clearly over the edge. If they can't help her soon she will definitley be one of the next ones we read about.
Just saw the video....she's gotta be abusing some kind of drugs. How sad!
