Am I the only one dealing with this?
My ds is 3 months old and eats every 2.5 to 3 hours because he won't drink more than 3.5 - 4 ounces at a time.
He's up twice a night and it's maddening! Lol
I know you can't compare kids but my DD was sleeping through the night by 7 weeks old and was at around 6 ounces per bottle at 3 months old.
I know it's gets better but right now I don't see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Anyone else going through this?

Am I the only one dealing with this?
It's a phase. Sttn is developmental more than anything.
Dd2 will be 3 months on oct 2nd. She is nursed but I also pump and give bottles. She eats every 3 hours during the day and when it's a bottle it's only 4oz. She goes from 730-445am which is crazy amazing bc dd1 didn't do that until about 4 months.
Edited to add dd1 was also supplemented with formula and was taking 6oz by now, but dd2 sleeps longer. They will sleep longer when they're ready, not by how many ozs they can take

Me!!! I'm going through this, too. And I'm soooooo tired. Let's commiserate!
DS sttn at 11 weeks on his own. I didn't have to do anything to help him. DD is now 4 months old and still waking 1-2 times a night to eat. She's a terrible eater during the day, but slurps down her bottles at night. I think we just kind of have to ride it out. I'm hoping it gets better soon!

Ride it out. It will get better.

It will get better - no 2 kids are the same.
My 1st was sleeping 7 hours a night from the beginning - I haven't been that lucky with the subsequent ones.

All babies are different. My 5.5 month old still wakes up 3-4 times a night to eat. He occassionally STTN for a 6 hour stretch. My friend's baby has been STTN 7pm-7am without waking since 2 months.

DS only started STTN consistently around one year. Before that he'd have a few good weeks followed by a few bad weeks.

I hate to ask bc it sounds so annoying, but do you have the baby on a schedule during the day? All of the books Ive read say to stretch the baby between feedings. In your case I would do every 4 hrs during the day (getting in 24 oz's). The more you do that, the more they will eat at each feeding, and then the longer they can go at night. It is hard at first bc they are used to feeding on demand...so you have to try to distract them until the next feeding is to begin.
I recommend reading The Baby Sleep Solution by Suzy Giordano. It gives great tips for breaking the night feedings to get towards the goal of 4 daytime feedings a day.
Once I got my DS on a schedule he started sleeping so well. I never thought i would be one of those moms -- but it worked for us, and more importantly him. He was fed, well rested, and happy. I find that routine more than anything makes for a happy baby.
Edited in response to a post below: this is just my experience, and what ultimately worked for me. I have no clue if it will work for someone else and I do not think there is a one size fits all answer to fit every child. Hope this or something else will work for the OP.

Hmm. Dd is only on breastmilk and I though that would be digests even faster than any formula?
And pp, I agree somewhat. Dd is on a schedule, every 3 hours even if she's not waking or crying for milk. I'd rather get in her calories during the day than at night.

He is on a schedule of every 3 hours because I can't get him to 4 hours. He screams - like you'd think the kid never ate in his life - then I have to feed him. Sometimes we get 3 hours between feedings and sometimes its only 2.5.
Like Jdubs mentioned, he is on Alimentum so that may be why I can't get longer than 2.5-3 hours.

Am I the only one dealing with this?
My DS barely slept. For the first 2 months I was lucky to get an hour at a time. Sleep deprivation is real! At 2-3 months he would sleep 2-3 hours at a time. By 4 months he was STTN. Best thing ever!!! Hang in there!

My 4 month old DD eats every 2-3 hrs in the day 3-4oz's per bottle max or bfing and then eats constantly from like 7-10pm. gets up 1-2x's per night to BF between 10pm-7am. My DS was about the same but took closer to 5oz tops pre bottle and we did modified CIO at 6 months which worked in 3 days.

Am I the only one dealing with this?
My boys never drank more than 4 oz at a time - DS 2 started sleeping better once we introduced food. DS 1 didn't sleep well until he was almost 3 (but, that was due to digestive issues).

Meh. I don't believe this. My DS ate every 3-3.5 hours during the day, but STTN by 11 weeks on his own. I didn't have to do anything.
My DD eats every 4 hours...and really, she would go longer if I let her. But she's still only giving me a 5ish hour stretch at night. She's 18 weeks old. I just don't think she's developmentally read to sleep yet.

my dd is 5 weeks old. She eats every 2 hours! Only eats 3 oz at a time, sometimes 4oz, sometimes 2 oz!! she follows this schedule through the night! I literally do not sleep. I have a 3 yo as well and I am just exhausted. My 3yo was easy peasy.
