Am I The Only Dork That Gets Teary Eyed

because my DD will 2 years old on Thursday. I just cannot believe how fast she is growing up and boy does time really flies.

I am here with tears streaming down my face. I am happy but at the same time a little sad that is growing up so quickly. Please tell I am not the only who gets this way.

Nope! I think Christopher turning 2 was harder than him turning 1. At 1, he was still a baby, but it is soooo much different now, they are so grown up!!

Happy early Birthday EllaChat Icon

I was the same way, and probably will be every single year...plus, I get weepy on random days when she does something mature/silly/sweet.

I don't think it will ever end Chat Icon

I was very emotional when DS turned 2. I couldn't believe how he wasn't a baby at all, but a wonderful little boy.

Then on his bday he was just so cute- taking time to admire the cards and gift bags. When he came downstairs and saw the Elmo decorations he said "oh, nice" and was just so sweet about it, it made me teary to see what a great kid I haveChat Icon

For me its bitter sweet as well. I love that she is this confident two year old and is thriving but the other part is the realization that we may not have another so I dont want to let go. But then I look at her older sister and get back happy again cause i am curious to see what type of young lady she will beChat Icon
