Am I in the Wrong
When we found out we were having twins we figured on who would be the God-Parents. We decided 2 of my brothers & 2 of Johns sisters. But, haven't asked anyone.
Well, since then my eldest brother has become quite flaky & a bit of a dink. He will not be flying in for the christening. And I just don't feel that he would be the proper Godfather. So, I said to my husband why not have my eldest sister (who doesn't have any Godchildren) & one of his sisters. And then have his one & only brother. Well, he is really mad that I changed my mind & doesn't want to pick between the 2 sisters. I told him the one is REALLY good to Patrick & is always very good to us. We talk to her once a week. (they all live in Ireland) The other is just as good but, we only talk to her maybe once a month. So I think it would be a bit of a slap in the face not to pick the one. But, the other one doean't have any Godchildren so I said you can use that as an excuse & the other one would totally understand. I even said you can blame me if she gets upset. but, bear in mind it might put a damper on her feeling towards me.
We are now less then 2 weeks away from the christening. A decision HAS to be made!!!
I am not happy with who Patricks Godmother is. And I don't want that to happen with the girls. (I know some people feel its no biggie...I am not one of them!)

No your not wrong at all. My Fh wanted his one sister as the godmother and I wanted another. Well Since I picked one of my brothers he said it was his choice and he picked the sister that I really didn't want. I wanted the other sister becuz she has no godchildren and she is closer to me and the baby then his other sister that lives upstate and she has another god daughter that lives up there and she does everything with. She is always comparing my daughter to our Niece who is the other god daughter which really annoys me.

I know my friend is a godmother with another woman, there is no godfather to the baby.
maybe that would work for you?
Baby 1 - godmother (DH sister #1) & godfather (your brother)
baby 2 - godmother (DH sister #2) & godmother (your sister)

I didn't think of that my cousin done that for her son she has her brother and her DH's brother as the godparents

That would be great if my priest didn't act like I was asking him to break a commandment!
