am I alone?

As I read other post about bfing and child care it is comforting to know when I get up at 2am , 5am ext... That I am not the only one doing so. Right now I feel that I am utterly alone.
I feel that I have completly let my child down and there is nothing that I can do.

We have been going thru a court battle with her biological father and of course he has won. He has not see or talked with her for over 3 years. He has produced 2 other childred during these times. He currently lives in a shelter in bk with them, is on welfare, and has NO PHONE. But the courts have said that he has every right to take her 2xs a month for 8 hrs and he can take her to his shelter during those time.


WHAT IS WRONG with these court systems?????

Her court appointed lawyer has not seen or tlaked with her to ask her how she feels or what she thinks. The court appointed lawyer was AGAINST ME and my husband and on the side fo the biological father

The judge has threatened me many times. Said he has everyright to call CPS on me ON ME ????? Because my husband was taking her to visitations and his licenc was suspend.....
The the judge threats to make me have to pay for the biological fathers court appointed lawyer .......???????

How do I now hand my child over to an incompetent man that has no care for my daughter for 8 hours. She doesnt want to go but there is nothing I can do right now. I have to sit and watch my child be forced in doing something she doesn't want to do and get her feelings hurt by this man that I have been trying to protect her from all these years.

During the trial visitations ( that were supervised because he is basically a stranger to me and my family) he has proved him self unreliable He doesn't call when he is supposed and the last t 2 visit he didn't even show. But in the courts eyes I am in the wrong. I was told by the Judge how dare I take her and move out to Suffolk County SORRY for wanting to give my child a better life, I guess I am supposed to live in a illegal basement apt and unadiquit ( ?? spelling) day care.

If any one has gone thru something similar please share with me.(FM - you do not have to expose yourself as I have) So I don't feel so alone and disappointed in myself. I feel that I have let her down and just don't know how to fix it.

I am sooooooorrrrry!

The court is messed up ~ my sister in law in a similar situation with my drug addicted brother... she has lost everytime.... go figure...
(I dont talk to my brother due to his lifestyle ~ I have been my sister in laws witness in the past...)

where did you get your lawyer from? You need one that specializes in child advocacy. They dont come cheap but in the end i'm sure it would be worth it.

Well I think it was a combo of the lawyer and the judge. The judge was an &%^%$ not only to me but other couples I had seen him talk with. His whole attitude is " nothing had happened YET" No damage YET He has a right he is the biological father...
