Alternative to the pack and play
We travel quite a bit since our families are not local. DS is 7 months and sleeps awful in the pack and play. Has anyone found an alternative that is more comfortable for their DC? To give you an idea of how last night went, DH said "let's just bring his crib mattress next time..."
Thanks!

Alternative to the pack and play
Baby bjorn travel crib light. Love, love, love. We fly with it. Pack it in a big suitcase with dd's stuff and check it. Sets up in seconds and most important dd sleeps the same as in her crib.

Alternative to the pack and play
We bought a mattress for the pack and play and dd slept much better in it with that. Dream on me 3 inch foam mattress sold on amazon.

We did the same thing. Got mine from buy buy baby. I think mine is 2 inches. Can't remember, but dd is almost 2 1/2 and still sleeps perfectly on it!

Alternative to the pack and play
Shortly after he turned 1 we bought a toddler cot. It's only a few inches off the ground and he has been using it all the time. Folds so small we take it everywhere

Re: Alternative to the pack and play
We bought a mattress for the Pack N' Play at BBB and DS slept horribly in it. The mattress is so incredibly thin that it's hard to imagine it making the PnP more comfortable. I've read good things about the option by Baby Bjorn that a PP mentioned.
