Altering jeans
So I've lost some weight and I have a few pairs of jeans that are too big. Thing is, they are almost brand-new. Do I spend the money to have them taken in, or just buy new jeans? They all cost between $40 and $50 each.
I'm only asking because I have never had anything taken in, only hemmed, and I don't know if it's at all feasible or cost-effective.

I had a pair or 2 of jeans taken in at the waist.
As long as you use a good seamstress, it will look perfect.
You couldn't tell they had been altered.
I dont' recall how much it was- because it was awhile ago.
I do remember it wasn't cheap but it wasn't crazy pricey.
In other words it was worth having them taken in over buying new jeans.
I want to say maybe like $20?

Do they need to be taken in the entire length or just the waist.
If it is all over then buy new. If it is just in one place then it might be worth it. btu I would probably still buy new
