Almost 6 month old bottle and feeding question
My almost 6 month old recently started eating fruits and veggies. I basically give him five 7 oz bottles a day and then give him a half a container of fruits in the morning and then 1/2 a container of veggies later in the day. I notice that he spits up more frequently so I know he's probably eating too much. I usually give him his bottles every 3-4 hours..his schedule is pretty much....bottle at 7:30, fruits around 9:30, bottle at 10:30, bottle at 1:30, bottle at 4:30, veggies at 5:15 and then bottle at 7:30 which holds him throughout the night. Is this too much? How often do you feed your children and how much. The Pediatricians are so vague on the topic and being a new Mommy, I'm a little lost and don't want to over feed my lil guy. Thanks for your input

At 6 months, my DD was drinking 4 6oz bottles a day and eating breakfast (oatmeal/fruit) and dinner (oatmeal/veggie).

Re: Almost 6 month old bottle and feeding question
At 6 months DD dropped to 4 bottles (7 ounces each) and was getting breakfast and dinner for solid meals.

Re: Almost 6 month old bottle and feeding question
maybe DS isn't eating enough (or too much!)! He is almost 6 months...
I nurse him in the morning he gets 3 5oz bottles a day while i'm at work he eats oatmeal and fruit in the morning and again in the evening (about half a container of each) i nurse him again once or twice before bed (cluster feeding still) nurse him to sleep and he still gets up once during the night

I'm having the same issue right now too! I'm not sure if I should be breaking up his feedings more or not. Right now his schedule is this: 8ish - 6oz bottle and oatmeal Noonish - 6 oz bottle and fruit 4ish - 6 oz bottle and vege 8:30 - 6 oz bottle and bed
I'm wondering if I should start spacing the bottle and the food a little more so he eats more of the food rather than the bottle????
