Allergy test... reaction?

DS had an allergy test yesterday. It was confirmed what we thought, he's allergic to milk and eggs but he is also severely allergic to cashews and pistachios, so much so that we were given an epipen prescription.

Fast forward to last night, DS went down to bed a little late, around 9:30pm but then an hour later woke up screaming... not wet, wouldn't nurse, didn't want to be rocked, just screamed and cried. We finally got him to sleep an hour later, slept an hour, woke up screaming again. This went on until 2am which sucked because DH had to work overnight the night before and stay to work his normal hours, he missed a whole night of sleep and couldn't wait to hit the bed last night only to have DS act like this. I'm also pregnant and fighting a really bad cold, my body is weak and all I wanted to do was sleep. It was a rough night for everyone. We called the dr emergency line because DS was just so out of control and couldn't be consoled at all, I thought maybe something serious was wrong with him. She said to give him Motrin, wait for it to kick in and it did and he slept the rest of the night.


Could this be from the allergy test? He has 8 teeth, front 4, bottom 4. I tried feeling around to see if anything else was popping through but I didn't see or feel anything.

How old is he? Maybe night terrors? Or maybe he is getting a cold too and has a sore throat and didn't feel well.
I don't think it was because of the allergy test, what did he have, the scratch test?
