Allentown/Bethlehem?
Long shot but does anyone have any activity/hotel/restaurant recommendations for this area? Esp. activities - outdoor, indoor, historical, we're open but no wineries.
DH wants to go for a night or two to see a triple A team play so it'll just be the two of us.
I found discoverlehighvalley.com but anything I find on there that interests me is about an hour away. I really want activities that are close by.
TIA!

We went to Bethlehem to see the new casino. There was NOTHING else to do but the casino.

There is a cute little main street near the casino you can walk around the shops and get some food...thats should kill 2-3 hours otherwise there really is just the casino and some outlets nearby.
The town of Bethlehem has more going on around Christmas (no kidding right haha) and I have gone on some cute holiday tours of the town and christmas flea market stuff.

Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom are in Allentown, if you want to enjoy it without the kids.

Glasbern Inn. AMAZING!! It is a working farm so almost all the food served in its restaurant is right from the property. Rooms are great. Loved it.

We stayed in the homewood suites by hilton. They have an indoor pool and free breakfast. We went to the crayola factory from there.

Allentown/Bethlehem?
We just moved to bethlehem so i am always looking for things to do around here... I saw this today and i thought it looked interesting.. It is a walking trail with 6 separate parts about 90 min each. http://www.mcall.com/entertainment/kids/mc-heritage-trail-bethlehem-20120706,0,4351871.story
Also, there are always things going on by the casino http://www.artsquest.org/steelstacks/
We just went to an iron pigs game last week and had a great time!
