All this B-day talk has me thinking.....Holiday babies?
for those who gave birth near holidays or right after (DD is Jan 5th).....
what did you/are you going to do???

DD was born near Thanksgiving - I am going to have her first birthday the 25th - After the holiday.

Well Jacob is Dec. 28th, and we are prob just having immediate family over for his first bday. Assuming there wont be 12 feet of snow on the ground!!!
I'm not a lover of BIG parties, just find it too much of a hassle. Too much drama goes on and I'm just not up for it.
Poor baby, i guess he should get used to the xmas/bday combo gifts now!!!!!!!

we're not making a huge deal of it....whatever family is here and close friends but I'm not making a huge party.

Well, with the size of our families any party becomes a big hassle. Logan's christening with immediate family ONLY was 50 people.  I was looking ahead already and it looks like Sat the 23rd would be my only option, the Sat after Xmas is my grandfathers 1st anniversary in heaven
