all new mommies
How often are you feeding your babies? Emma is a week old and we are feeding her every 3 hours. Does your baby wake up for feedings or do you wake them?

Re: all new mommies
I am feeding on demand at this point. We try to wake her up but it does not work. So we just do it on demand

Re: all new mommies
My DS is 5 weeks and eats every 4hours during the day. He wakes up like clockwork at the 3 1/2 hour mark if he isn't already up. He has been like that since about 2 weeks old.
At night, he gets a bottle at 11pm and the next one between 5-6am, depending on when he wakes up. He does wake up at night to be cuddled a little but he wants no part of eating--every time I have tried he eats less than 1 oz and goes back to sleep. So now I just soothe him and he goes back to sleep.

I feed on demand as well, but since the beginning he wants to eat every 3 1/2 to 4 hours. He is up to about 4-5 oz. now, but my little piggy some times wants more. At night I feed him around 11ish and he won't wake up again until 4:30-5 to eat.
