So our Prime Day Alexa arrived today - earlier than I anticipated.
Any tips?
How do you put a password on so that the kids can't buy things off of Amazon?

I love ours from Prime day!! I have no idea about the password...but my son said something about ordering popcorn the other day and it only added it to our shopping list, it didn't actually order it.
I love to check the weather, get the news update, and listen to music on ours. Getting movie times is super easy also! Also, ask her to tell you a joke..the kids love that. Or ask her to rap for you (LOL). Also, tell it good morning, and good night

omg I love her- she sings - Happy Birthday... when you have kids thats a HUGE hit...
and I love the coin flip thing- we are very indecisive and it comes in handy when deciding pizza or chinese

That's good to know that it doesn't order. I just saw the horror stories of people getting a million things they didn't realize - and I can see my kids doing that.

We have Alexa but I'm getting annoyed because "she" is responding a lot now when we aren't saying her name. I think I may need to do some voice training with her, which is more work than I wanted to do (I want to do nothing).
Even my 5 year old keeps saying "Alexa, we're not talking to you." That's pretty funny.

We use the coin flip for the same thing! lol!
I also like playing Jeopardy daily. DD loves hearing it talk so we have Alexa tell us a joke, which is usually terrible. She also plays DD's favorite songs- a techno song (don't ask  ), the hokey pokey, and if you're happy and you know it.
ETA: I keep mine in the kitchen so when I notice we're running out of something... like eggs... I tell her to add it to my shopping list. Then I can access the list from my phone when I do go shopping.
