Albany??
Anything to do? Go? Restaurants? Hotels?
Meeting up with 2 friends. 1 from Rochester, 1 from LI, and I'm in CT. Thinking Albany is a nice middle point for all of us.
Or if you have another suggestions on where to meet that would be great too!!

Albany??
When are you looking to go on the trip? I live in the area and could probably give you some suggestions. Not sure if I would stay in Albany though - some of the surrounding areas are nicer (like Saratoga).

Definitely meet in Saratoga. The Gideon Putnam is gorgeous...hotel, restaurant & spa right near Saratoga. I went to a wedding there and it was really pretty. And you can walk around the shops/town area of Saratoga.

I agree, my SD goes to UAlbany so we are there pretty often. Albany is like Nassau county with a few mountain views. It will feel a lot more like a getaway if you stay in Saratoga
