Airport travel with Formula..
How much POWDERED formula can we bring on a plane? What should it be in?
I went to the TSA site, but it talks mostly about liquid formula.
DD is on Nutramagin, and although I'm sure I could get it at Target or BRU in FL, I'd like to bring as much as I can in my carry-on with me. But, I don't want to bring it if it's going to get taken away..
Anyone have experience?
Also, how many jars of babyfood can I bring on the plane? Should I check it or in my carry-on?
Leaving a week from Saturday, so I'm sure I'll have a ton more questions!!
Any advice is appreciated! TIA!!

From my experience (flying when DD was 4 months, 8 months and 11 months), you can bring whatever you want. They may test some of the stuff like bottled water, etc but they don't even have to open it up.

Re: Airport travel with Formula..
I just traveled internationally last month and i brought a big container of powdered formula in my carry-on. (I was worried what if we get stuck somewhere, or my luggage gets lost, etc.) I had the largest Similac that they sell in the store, I think its 23 oz or so, and they didn't give me a problem.

Re: Airport travel with Formula..
I brought two of the powder formula holder cups, each held enough for 3 - 6 ounce bottles, they didn't even bat an eye. You shouldn't have any issues at all. I even took bottles filled with water. In one direction they opened them and waived a wand over them to check the vapor. In the other direction they didn't even do that.
They didn't even look at the baby food jars.
