Airline Checking In Help
DH and I are going away for a few days. Our flight is at 5:15 tomorrow night. What time can I check in online? It says 24 hrs. Would that be 5pm today? or midnight tonight? Please help!

Re: Airline Checking In Help
Southwest? Be advised that there is also early bird check-in ($10 extra, 36hr check-in) so even if you check in exactly 24hrs prior to flight you most likely will not be assigned the first boarding passes. I'm usually in the A group but if flight is full, sometimes in B group.
Just don't want you to be disappointed and shocked if you aren't the first to board.

I dot know what airline you are flying, but I personally have NEVER heard of checking in early gets you on the flight first.
Again, I have only flew American, jet blue, continental and delta. I have PAID to have an earlier boarding since I travel for work and don't want to get stuck checking my laptop bag.
Other airlines might be different, or I might be way off here. But I have never heard of such a thing?
Am I out of the loop???

Southwest does not assign seats...you get a boarding group and it's open seating.
