Central air is AWESOME!!!! I live in Virginia and with the heat index it feels like 105 degrees today!! Baby  and I have been home all weekend with the CAC on. Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhh. DON'T FORGET TO DRINK PLENTY OF WATER!!!!!

Do you have any cranberry juice at home? When I was pregnant and sick and tired of drinking water, I would dillute some cranberry juice with water (I didn't want all the calories and sugar from straight juice). It was pretty good - like one of those Vitamin Waters.

Yeah, I heard that NY is scorching!!!
In NC it feels like 107 today. We have been inside all day and haven't felt the heat yet. 
Let's hope for some relief soon!

I know I keep telling my parents to get it in thier house but my mom find refuge here on the really hot days since I am home for the next 24 weeks she'll be here alot anyway to keep me company and my azz on the couch lol

I am actually contemplating sleping at my mother's house because the CAC is on (one of us is there daily) there. We live on the second floor and despite having a/c units, it doesn't even come close to what CAC can do.

yeah we just bought our first home and it has CAC. Definately is a luxury we never had. Though dh seems to think he needs to make my puppy and i grow icecles from our nose. lol feels great though.

Oh, how I miss the CAC we had in the home we lived in before buying our house.  Now, we have a small A/C in our bedroom... It feels great in there but I don't have a TV there so it's kind of boring. Unless I go home and jump DH's bones today after work!

OMG- I really dont know what I would do without my CAC. I'm going to pass out when I see the bill but its either that or pass out from the heat...
This weather is terrible. I have never in my life lived through a June this hot.

We have it, but we lost power last night with the storm and it was HOT with no AC or fans!! I am at my mom's today with AC and the pool and I'm not going home until the power comes back on! So happy DH decided to get the CAC last year though- otherwise it would be a LONG summer for me

Try lemon lime seltzer! I have GD as well and seltzer keeps me from losing my mind since we don't really have any other option that water to drink.
