Aghhhh
I'm doing my first load of baby wash and I'm currently boiling her diapers to start prepping them (we are doing cloth)
I don't know why but this has me soooo freaked out!!! It's like real now!!!
Ummmm I'm 37 weeks and I'm having a baby!!!
Anyone else get freaked out just by washing baby clothes or am I just insane?

Oh yeah, clothes washing made it all more real! It was soooo cute to open up every pkg and examine every piece and imagine a little person fitting into them...simply adorable! Yay for being sooo close Maria!!!! SO excited for you!

You are not insane. It one thing to be thinking about your baby, even buying things for your baby - which takes it to another level, but to be DOING something for your baby, actuallly participating in a direct activity - I can see that feeling freaky!!! Its so exciting!

washing stuff didnt get me this time, b/c it was like i was doing for dd.. but when we were watching that show "didnt know i was pregnant" the other night.. they showed a newborn.. I turned to dh and was like  were going to have another one of those with in the next 3 weeks... I started to sweat big time.

Yay!!! I can't wait for a GTG this summer with the babies! It will be so cute! HOpefully by then it iwll have sunk in

I'm J/k - I know what you're saying. And yes, I anticipate being completely freaked out and overwhelmed just by getting the furniture next weekend - I don't even want to think about how washing clothes is going to make me !!!

Oh HELLZ no.... My DH turned on her mobile and I completely freaked and had to leave the room
I swear, I never thought I would be like this. I've wanted a baby as long as I can rememebr and now that I'm having one i'm like

See the diapers didn't freak me out as much as the clothes.... Although for a moment I started cursing.... CLOTH DIAPERS??? Are you out of your FARKIN mind??? ANd then I got over it because I remembered you only have to prep them once so the first time is a bit of work and then after is easy!!!
I was ok when the furniture was delivered. Its something about holding a newborn onesy soft and clean in your hands and knowing that in a few weeks you will be responsible for this sweet, tiny little creature that will fit inside of it!
