After you started rice cereal....
did you do oatmeal then barley???
I did rice, then went to oatmeal, and would like to start on rice and bananas bc I think DS would take to that better than the plain rice and oatmeal, but should I be doing barley then the mixed cereal before venturing to cereal with fruit??? TIA

I did rice, then oatmeal. Well DD hated oatmeal so I went back to rice cereal b/c she was starting to not want to eat and I started fruits. I bought a box of barley to try eventually, but since she is happy with the rice and fruits I'm sticking to that for now.
My mom said none of her kids liked barley and my MIL said neither did DH, so I'm going to hold off for a while.

I did rice then oatmeal. Never barley. Started with only single grains for a while.

DS likes the rice and oatmeal with the bananas and fruit.......trying the mixed grain soon.....
