After HSG... (TMI)
I had an HSG done this past Thursday afternoon and I just have to ask for those of you who have already had this done, but, is it just me and the way my body is responding to the procedure, but was your cervical fluid not right afterwards? I had it done on CD9 and of course it made me bleed a little bit, and between that, just getting over my period and that dye stuff, all I can say is that it's been gross. It's been about 4 days since I had it done and my CM is still not right? Is this normal? It's like it's still left over if that makes sense? Sorry for the TMI, I just didn't know what to expect.  Thanks!
ETA: Yes, I had to wear a pad that first day but not since, but it's just been

After my HSG, I had brown CM for a while.

Well, at first it was really gross. Very clumpy, brown, etc. But now it's more like a little brown, very sticky/pastey, etc. I just thought that it would have been gone by now since it's been 4 days? Usually at this time of my cycle it's getting watery. I just didn't know that it was going to be the way it was and is after the HSG. I read about what I was going to feel like during it, but not the aftermath!  I hope it returns to normal soon. I've been hesitant to be intimate with my DH because of it. I'm very self conscious to begin with so this to me is "yucky"!

I think I would call the doctors office and ask them, and tell them exactly what is going on with you

That's what I'm thinking, but I didn't think it would be like this!  I thought it would just be a little bit of a flow for the day and that's it. Now I know!

I had my HSG yesterday and I did not have that much discharge. It may be just the betadine leaving your body. If it is blood then I would call the Dr.

I had brown CM for a few days after. My OB said it was totally normal, but like you I did not expect it to last that long
