After csection.. i notice this...
So yesturday in shower one of my steri strips came off (finally after 2 weeks) well under it was a string kinda of feels like fishing line so i investigate further and it is coming from under skin and has a knot on top. Now i dont want to pull it cuz im sure i will open up my insision but has anyone else had this. I know they used disposable sutures on inside so why is this on the outside? Very weird i must say.

I didn't have anything like that with my C-sect. I would def. call the doc and ask about it.

This sounds familiar to me, but I tried to block all of that out. I'd call the dr to see what they say it is.

A few weeks after my c-section, I had a small knot start to come out at the end of my incision. I left it alone and brought it up at my 6 week pp appointment. The dr. looked at it and it fell off pretty easily. He didn't seem concerned at all and said it was normal.

I had that! My doctor only had me come in if it was bothering me, it was, so he yanked it out in the office with tweezers.

I remember that as well! I just ignored it as it wasnt bothering me and eventually not sure if hte Dr pulled it or if it disolved but its not there now

same here. Isn't that so weird that I don't really know/remember where the string finally went? Don't pull on it. It will go away not sure how but it will

Me too and eventually it just fell off or dissolved.

I'm 3 weeks PP and still have mine sticking out. I forgot to mention it at my 2 week visit so I'll mention it at my 6 week appointment. I'm really not concerned but it is weird.
